No need to run out of the country. applying to our platform as a Doctor, you can earn more than the doctors leaving.

Story story story ... average general practioner here in Melbourne earns about $200k per year. That is about 50 million naira per annum. More than 4 million naira a month.

Nigeria has enough doctors!!! Is this man high on some drugs? The number of doctors to patient is 1/2 to 20,000

Many people have lost their lifes due to the few number of medical practioners we have, the government should rather find a way to improve doctors salaries and provide essential equipment for their work instead of acting unconcerned, the truth is Nigerian doctors are well appreciated abroad.

Look at the crop of leaders we have in this country.
I even doubt if this man is really a doctor.
Imagine the kind of caricature he is making with his own profession cos he is offered a ministerial appointment.
With this, it will be very long for us to get it right in this country.
Things keep getting worst by day here.

A na a patch, o na e leak.

Nollyzonenews:
The Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige, says doctors who feel they want to relocate in search of greener pastures are free to do so as the nation has enough medical personnel.

Ngige said this on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily on Wednesday.
The minister was responding to a question on brain drain and the deliberate recruitment of Nigerian doctors by foreign embassies in Nigeria to the detriment of the nation’s health sector.

In his response, however, Ngige, who is also a medical doctor, said there was nothing wrong with doctors leaving the country as they would continue to send foreign exchange home which could, in turn, grow the economy.

He said, “No, I am not worried (about doctors leaving the country). We have surplus. If you have surplus, you export. It happened some years ago here. I was taught chemistry and biology by Indian teachers in my secondary school days.

it's only few people that understands will support the minister.....the remittance of Nigerians in diaspora is really helping our economy.

Nigeria actually have the highest concentration of doctors in the world, while many are unemployed,it's better they seek jobs abroad

Dr.Chris Nwanbueze Ngige, please that statement is not good enough for a high profile personality like you sir.

As a honourable Minister of Labour, you have to encourage them to stay and make the country a better place bearing in mind the current ratio of medical doctors to the populace.

Sir,I will like to work with you,to encourage them to stay and serve our fatherland....

Engr.Amos Omogege.

Oga,their salaries are already improved.they just never satisfied..this your statement should be directed to the paramedical professionals whom they continue to oppress with no improvement in their salaries.

Nigeria doesn't have enough doctors, and also there are too few standard hospitals. Ideally, each local government area in Nigeria should have a standard tertiary hospital in the class of teaching hospital, federal medical centre or multi-specialty specialist hospital. At worst, let one of such kind of hospitals serve 2 LGAs. If we had such, that's when the government would have known that there aren't even enough doctors.
