The Anambra basin is a geologic division. Nigeria basin are divided into seven basins in geology, namely Chad basin, Sokoto basin, Nupe basin, Dahomey basin, Niger Delta basin, Anambra basin, BenueTrough Basin
That part of Kogi (ibaji) falls under the Anambra basin geologically. Thanks

There's massive oil in Kogi, in commercial quantity as well. I have known this for many years now.

Kogi is actually southern Nigeria, That's the major reason why the Hausa leadership has refused to recognize them as oil producers, (even though the north has been looking for crude oil).

Anambra basin in layman language is huge area with same rock formation. It covers part of kogi and part of Anambra and Enugu...
But d oil is drilled at Anambra

That is your thinking , kogi is a central Nigeria. Not southern Nigeria. Europeans were the people that partitioned Nigeria and they did the portioning based on the similarities between cultures and peoples way of life. So it not about the map but about the people.
