AnanseK: Sanusi is going no where soon, the courts have stopped further pronouncements by Kano government. Moreover Sanusi and Kwankwaso are allies, can't see both running for the same position. |

poseidon12: My brother let's not deceive ourselves. We've lied to ourselves for too long in yorubaland that Ibo hate Hausa and must Yoruba as alternative, all that have fallen apart now and we Yoruba are the cause. Our anti-Eastern rhetorics have cost us southern goodwill. The East have maintained that if Yoruba cannot tolerate an Ibo president then they themselves will not have it and I think it is fair. The solution- Yoruba should deploy all their media propaganda to prop up an Igbo presidenti candidate. Dr Ogbonnaya Onu is a good presidential candidate and acceptable to all. Just the the East supported OBJ a Yoruba man, it's time for we Yoruba to reciprocate. Shikena! |

Its very obvious that APC would most likely field Tinubu as its presidential candidate in order to rotate power back to the south as they will find it difficult fielding another northerner after Buhari. PDP will capitalize on this and Wike would use such opportunity to field a Tambuwal/Wike ticket for 2023 which has been the initial plan all along for 2019 but which failed to materialize. By fielding a Tambuwal-Wike ticket, PDP would be sure of SE/SS votes and votes from the north (because i don't see a typical northerner vote a SW candidate let alone someone like Tinubu over a popular grassroot man like Tambuwal). With that and with the Buhari factor gone, PDP will most likely secure the presidency in 2023. The only way APC will most likely win in 2023 is if they field a popular northern candidate which is most unlikely, considering that a northerner from their party (Buhari) had just completed 8 terms. Truth is that power will continue to remain largely in the north except this country is either truly restructured or the immense power is removede from the presidency and placed more on states. |
