Good evening all Guru's here, thanks for the advice u gave me the other time. Have serviced the vehicle(2006 C230 sport) but the car still misfires and still brings out blue-white smoke that pains in the eye when u start it in the morning.the smoke also smells like burnt oil. Also found this.

Hmmm! What was the original problem again, are you sure you fed us well? Because i'm afraid, It looks like head gasket issue. Your oil and coolant may be mixing and sipping into the cylinder. You might need to plan replacing your head gasket. Dont be in a hurry yet.

Any ways, pull off all the plugs, check to see if there is any oil or coolant on them, then do a compression and leak down test and let us know the result.

Oando transmission oil. Make sure you buy it @ the gas station. For the scanning call this guy he is very good on Benz. 07033472474

Has expensive auto parts. I have a 2007 c 230 one year old today works just fine only changed fluids and a/c compressor so far. But when the car came I changed all 4 absorbers and 4 tyres.

I know an owner of a C280 4matic and she doesn't have any issues with the car.

there is nothing wrong with a 4matic benz. Its like a quattro audi, x bmw, sh-awd acura, attessa infiniti. Its just an awd benz. Infact it handles excellently in wet conditions compared to RWD models. The shock absorber are different from rwd models, its got front and rear differeentials and shafts. For your c280 4matic, it uses a 5G-tronic rather than the 7G-tronic which could be pesky.

Planning to get a 2003 w203 c200 kompressor classic but I noticed "1 Malfunction" and "2 Fault" on the instrument cluster.

Hello Chimex, my honest opinion to you.

The c280 4matic is overly extra engineered; front & back differentials; shaft; suspensions and the 4 wheel driven thing as standard. What that means is that you would definitely have high cost of owning as a luxury car of which it is: shaft replacement being a wear item, suspension replacement too being a wear item. Personally, i hate anything shaft in a sedan. I can only manage it in my suv.

It is a fantastic ride except for those over engineered stuffs. The truth is any road your 4matic will enter , your RWD can also enter. So the choice is yours whether to trade off for RWD or remain with extra engineering budget and just mop up the extra finances in maintenance.

please was deceived that a 1997 model Mercedes was 2000 model. Bought it 425k. Please was the price too much? Have I been duped?

If you have paid for the car and its in your possession, why panic. The worst that can be is that car is a Nigerian used or toks without custom papers. For more clarification pm me or call me.

Hello MB users,I am about to buy dis reg ML2001 model but I noticed a kind of sluggish movement when moving from idle,d gear selects well and drives well thereafter but heavy at hand when about move from idle. When u stop on motion and about to move its sluggish then move normal. there is check engine light on it.pls any idea of what's happening

The seller said he won't be responsible for scanning and if I paid for scanning and result discourage me from buying then is a loss to me.

House please, I need your help. I want to buy a 2001 Mercedes Benz C320. So far the cat is okay to me especially price wise but my only fear is that I didn't see the engine temperature gauge on the dash board. I complained about it but I was told that, that it displays on a screen on the dash board only when the temperature is high. Is that how the car truly works because I haven't heard that before. House please help
