Lagos – Dr. Tunji Abayomi, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has urged Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, national chairman of the party to immediately resign his position.

Speaking on the fall-out of the Zamfara Supreme Court Ruling, Abayomi who contested the last senatorial election under Action Alliance (AA) said he has been vindicated as the APC leadership failed to follow the party’s constitution in the conduct of its primaries.

“Oshiomhole has destroyed the APC and everybody was looking at him. What I find surprising is that he kept doing this and the people that raised their voice are demonized abused and yet, they are talking of anti-party. It was Oshiomhole and his NWC that committed anti-party activities” he said.

How was it Oshimole's fault when clearly Gov Yari defied APC constitutional guidelines and party directives and when ahead and held the state primaries by himself headed by the state chairman as opposed to the party national electoral committee appointed by the NWC witnessed by INEC.

Oshimole sent the electoral committee twice to oversee Zamfara APC primaries and Yari & co twice rejected it in preference to his own kangaroo committee, which lacked legal backing.

After Tinubu,na this esu kekere slave of the north that the norths will betray!

Oshiomole is the best thing to have happened to APC because his emergence was backed by Tinubu
