Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, FFK, has commended former past leaders of Nigeria for snubbing president Buhari's inauguration.

President Muhammadu Buhari was sworn-in for a second term in office today after emerging winner of the 2019 presidential election. He contested on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and defeated former vice president Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

However, noticed at Buhari's inauguration is the absence of past leaders like Olusegun Obasanjo, Goodluck Jonathan, Ibrahim Babangida and Abdulsalami Abubakar.

Reacting to their absence, FFK took to Twitter to commend them for not supporting the inauguration that came as a result of election-rigging.

You should know that on inauguration, when you are beginning a new administration, you are expected to address your people to tell them what your administration has lined up for them. If you observed, all the State Governors that were inaugurated today addressed their people to lay down their plans.
