No doubt El rufal is good at his game, always making calculated moves, just at a time when women feels they deserve more, he gave them deputy governor and now 6 months maternity leave.

Congratulations to kaduna state female civil servants

It sounds like a good policy, however Nigeria would remain a shithole if we continue to treat civil Service like charity organisation instead of serious business enviroment, and political apointments like mere chieftancy title.

Singerpore only recruits firstclass top graduates with post graduate cert, to their civil service, and they work with due delegence like its a business enviroment. This means that any goverment registration or services takes shortest time to process as Goverment Services run 24/7 with people going in shifts.

I can bet it, dangote group of company, MTN nigeria, Firstbank Plc that are Goal and profit driven would never giver 6 month paid vacation, they would rather.create staff daycare center, however Nigerian Goverment that runs on Niger delta crude oil and taxes from southern boders would even give you a year paid vacation

This one is putting the cart before the horse. I hope it is not more than 2 months paid leave and the rest unpaid leave.

It's progressive, is just dat we need light and clean water.

While we are shouting that our population is skyrocketing without corresponding infrastructure and resources to cater to it, a state governor is making it easier for people to continue giving birth.

Misplaced priority.

El-Rufai is a disruptor - he confronts issues headlong not caring whose ox is gored, with the sole aim to effect positive change. He did it in Abuja admirably. As fct minister he ordered demolition of mosques and churches built without approval in Abuja and some "men of god" insinuated that he was set for destruction for confronting God. Nonsense! El- Rufai keeps waxing strong many years after. A self-styled apostle "prophesied" in 2015 that El-Rufai would suffer sudden death for saying Nigerians would always reject any election result even if jesus were to supervise it (Obasanjo once said the same thing). Nonsense! El-Rufai may even outlive the so-called "man of God".

it's not like he's making it easy for our population to continue to skyrocket, mother's are to breastfeed exclusively for six month. F.G should even adopt this

I thinks it's a good development. But I hope it's not abused. Some women might start to give birth each year so they can get away from work for six month.

OK oooo.
While we are thinking of how to trim the over bloated and unproductive Northern population, some clueless persons are coming up with ways to give them license to born born like water.
The North thinks upside down. Giving birth to armies of almajiris is a culture.
Anyway, na their wahala, But make them no come begging us for alms.

And what about countries like Finland, Hungary, Canada etc that give female workers lengthy maternity leave with full benefits, some even take close to a year with half benefits, does that mean they don't run government parastatals the way they should?
