Nigerian Air Force (NAF) denies report of helicopters "dropping weapons for Fulani herdsmen in the forest area of Akwuke Community in Enugu South LGA of Enugu State"..

... Says the report was false and "deliberately misleading and obviously concocted by the writer to cause disaffection and incite negative, divisive emotions".

The statement from NAF reads:

"PRESS RELEASE

FALSE REPORTS OF AIRCRAFT DELIVERING ITEMS IN AKUKWE FOREST AREA OF ENUGU STATE

1. The attention of Headquarters Ground Training Command (HQ GTC) Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Enugu has been drawn to a story being circulated by some mischievous, misguided elements purporting that NAF helicopters were being used to “drop” weapons for Fulani herdsmen in the forest area of Akwuke Community in Enugu South Local Government Area (LGA) of Enugu State. The report alleged that helicopters had been seen on several occasions flying at low level and landing in the forest area to “discharge their packages”.

2. HQ GTC wishes to state that the report is deliberately misleading and obviously concocted by the writer to cause disaffection and incite negative, divisive emotions. It must be noted that the NAF has 2 helicopter training institutions under its purview, which have been operating in Enugu for several years. These are the International Helicopter Flying School (IHFS) and 405 Helicopter Combat Training Group (405 HCTG), whose training curricula include low level flying around the forest areas near Akukwe, which is one of their designated training areas.

3. In particular, the 405 HCTG commenced tactical training on the newly acquired 109 Power helicopters on 24 May 2019, which includes low level flying as well as other maneuvres requiring them to land and take off within the training area. However, at no time was any NAF helicopter used to ‘drop’ any materials, let alone deliver weapons to any individual or group. Members of the public, especially residents of Enugu State, are therefore advised to discountenance the fake report and go about their normal activities without fear.

4. The NAF, as a professional fighting force, remains resolute in performing its constitutional role of defending the territorial integrity of a united Nigeria. Accordingly, we shall continue to work assiduously, in synergy with sister Services and other security agencies, to rid the country of all criminal elements in order to enable all Nigerians pursue their legitimate aspirations.

5. You are please requested to disseminate this information through your medium for the awareness of the general public. Thank you for your usual support and cooperation.

Only trouble makers and enemies of the country believed such fake news in the first place.

My issue with the terrorism issue we're having today in Nigeria is that Nigerians don't even know what we're fighting. Many people think we're fighting a terrorist army stacked somewhere. NO, we're fighting an IDEOLOGY. A Radical Islamic ideology sweeping across the world, threatening peace and freedom. And the way to fight it isn't just with guns and troops alone, but with massive investments in Education, Eradication of poverty and improvement of quality of life for more people. Provide people with education and opportunity to have a good life and they'll have no reason to take up arms or blowup themselves. This is the only way we can fight this menace.

*Joke of the Day*
What is the difference between 'Wife' and 'Girlfriend?'
Great thought in,, *Modified* version.,
*Wife* is like a *TV* and *Girlfriend* is like a *MOBILE.*
At home you *watch* TV,
but when you go out you *take* your MOBILE.
Sometimes you *enjoy* TV, but most of the time, you *play* with your MOBILE.
TV is (as good as) *free* for life, but for the MOBILE, if you don't *pay,* the services will be *terminated.*
TV is *big, bulky* and most of the time *old,*
But the MOBILE is *cute, slim, curvy, replaceable* and *portable.*
Operational costs for TV is often *acceptable*
but for the MOBILE, it is often *high* and *demanding.*
TV has a *remote*
but MOBILE *doesn't.*
Most importantly, MOBILE is a *two-way communication* (you talk and listen), but with the TV, you *MUST only listen* (whether you want to or not)!
Last but not least!
Yet TVs are superior because TVs don't have *viruses,* but MOBILES often *do*
And mobiles can be easily *hacked* or *stolen.*
*Take Care*
Stick to TV only

Sometime back, a senator from delta state raised the same alarm about helicopters dropping weapons in district. Dropping of weapons in remote areas has always been a constant decimal since the beginning of this demonic junta, only God knows why they're on this path but forcing people to keep quiet, www heard about Jalingo recently from survivors but I assure these demons that their occult plans shall be disgracefully put to shame before they see the light of day
