The man is very confused he just find himself in position of leadership without knowing what to do.

As can be seen in the pic, his upper frame body (from wait up) is not quite proportionate with the lower frame body (waist down). Kneeling on a hard surface will put pressure on his knee which can be quite discomforting. Leave the poor fellow alone.
