People shouting nonsense up and down.

The federal government is not talking about your state.

Those that have shown interest would be involved.

One question. Was this how Ghana resolved its own herders crisis?

If not why is this government hell bent on providing settlements everywhere after seeing the havoc that similars settlers have caused in places like jos plateau?

Any southerner who believes this does so at their own risk, the target of this information is the SW, because Miyetti Allah has made it clear that SE is no go area for them perhaps for the moment while as per SS Edo seems like their target for now.

It is annoying that the Northern Governors always want to support whatever the Southerners are condemning as if it is an inverse relationship without analyzing it to know the long term implications on their land.
What happens when the cattle multiply over the years and the settlement is no longer able to contain them? Then you would need MORE LAND right?

Use the military against the herdsmen if you are serious and impartial

Herdsmen are private Businesses and it is not a matter for the FGN.

This is how it is done in saner climes.

We remembered how we used to live as brothers as sisters in our darling nation with these same Fulani herdsmen.
The times we gave water and food to herdsmen journeying across the nation as they go on their business peacefully,
Just with their sticks and kettles for their prayers,
that was all before the evil and criminal minded politicians begun sponsoring some of them for evil because they want to remain in power forever.

Nigeria will be great again in our lifetime in Jesus name!
We believe in our darling President Muhammadu Buhari, a man after God's heart to always make the best decision for our darling nation to move forward.

May God Almighty continue to give you more wisdom. knowledge and understanding as you move our nation forward.

To settle it, the herders should go back to where they came from and herd their cattles there. Las las when we buy cows they would always say the cow was brought from Zaria and Sokoto, so the transportation makes it expensive. The Herders should go back to where they came from, don't spend our money on another man's private business.

Since the inception of Buhari government, herdsmen conflict, cattle colonies, grazing reserves, ranches are the main interest of the government.
Fulani radio license was in the news, why is Buhari government shying away from dead refineries, fuel importation and subsidy, poor economy, infrastructure decay, health care and others but concentrating solely on on cattle rearing business which is purely private business.

Its like there is a symbiotic relationship between this government and cattle, let the Federal government face issues that are critical to our national progress.

Many of us worked for the emergence of this government but this was not what we had in mind. angry

CGMedia:
The Presidency, on Sunday, said the proposed Ruga settlement is aimed at addressing the lingering farmer/herder clashes across the country, Igbere TV reports.

It was reacting to comments and controversies the plan had generated on social media in the past few weeks.

In a statement issued to Igbere TV by Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media & Publicity, he said;

APC shouldn't forget that SE and SS didn't vote for Buhari so we don't deserve it so they should please carry all the Fulanis and their families to South West cos they are the accommodators of Africa.

I miss Constituted authority he would've collected the N1 billion since, even Fulani herdsmen would've started work(killing) by now

Time for all of us southern farmers to start Igbo herdsmen, Yoruba herdsmen, ijaw herdsmen, Ibibio herdsmen, Anang herdsmen, Efik herdsmen, tiv herdsmen , urhobo herdsmen etc.
We would buy the cattle and rear them ourselves at our indigenous herders settlements. sad shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked

When in the history of Nigeria were fulani demons peaceful? Why don't you give them your father's house for this ruga ? Can you mention any develop country in the world where this ruga of a thing is existing?why can't you upload pictures of this ruga instead of posting pictures of ranches ? Can't you think with your head just once? If one should sell his conscience, should he also sell his brain along?

The no 3 cause of blindness in Nigeria is cataract, while No 1 & 2 is Tribalism and religion and that we haven't grown beyond this stage.
Your plethora of wisdom is evidenced in these few lines. Sensing immaturity everywhere, the only thing Nigerians are good at is blame-game, always looking for whom to blame. Now the so-call Southerners or may be Christians are busy blaming the government for their inabilities and misfortunes. Forgetting the fact that at one point in time they had opportunities, but failed to capitalize on them.
