Dear Friends, My name is M.K. I want to share my experience with you and users of this forum. As a single parent who is now in her mid-forties, it's been very tough for me raising my two kids singlehandedly. After a downsizing at a company where I worked led to my sack in the early 90's, I soon went into trading. Unfortunately, however, the business folded up a few years ago mysteriously. Since then I haven't been able to re-establish the business or even get a job, and things have been very hard. I've faced disappointment and disfavour with men and women, and I've prayed and fasted about the situation. Yet things are not better. Right now, I feel frustrated and almost without hope, and suicide's often on mind. But I know I don't need suicide. I urgently need help. I want God to make a way for me. I want to be happily married. I want to run a flourishing business. I want to have money enough, so that I may be able to help people who are in need. I want to be a blessing to others. What kinda help exactly do you seek? Psychological? Meet a counsellor to counsel you,maybe frm the church. Financial? Get involved in a skills acquisition training(I believe you have a latent skill/talent) I wish u the best |

Odunnu: Pretty woman. . . you couldn't have said it better @op Why not look at life from a different view ? your attitude and tone sounds pessimistic,like you have given up hope acquire skills{they can never be too much} like tailoring, catering, beauty & hair making skill, just acquire one, learn the trade, take care of your children and wear a new attitude. before you know it you are somewat happy again. and as for the man matter sommin will work out but your kids first |

I thank you all for the advice and encouragement. I need them,but I need HELP the most. I cant continue like this.Right now I can barely afford a loaf of bread,and my landlord is going to throw my things out anytime if I dont pay my overdue rent. Please,help me. |

hmmmm wow i really will sit down to reply this, 1. i know what it is to be down madam i do 2.you do have a little bit of courage to come out. 3.you didnt say wat level of education you have got. 4.what level of information do you have for the new world,cos you will be shocked that you have been doing things the wrong way.i.e using industrial age method of getting money for the information age. 5.your spirituality level scares me, looks like you are missing something cos God wants you to prosper ok 5.I will recommend some books that helped me get started in life, richest man in Babylon,rich dad poor dad series. so if u think you want to try out my methods maybe u can write me on studnettech@ymail.com cos all i do is i am a private investor/financial analyst. i trade financial instruments online (forex,gold,and stocks) and even down here @ home, so dis is my offer madam |

Op all hope is not lost,just be prayerful and you sound as if you've given up,i must tell you that watever you do witout faith and determination won't work,just believe it'll get better,if that line of your business isn't yielding fruits,you can explore,try something new,most times when we struggle dats when it seems like its getting worse but just persevere.it gets better. |
