Hundreds of protesting students of the Lagos State Polytechnic, Ikorodu, took over Ikorodu Road on Thursday to protest the crisis that has crippled academic activities in the school.

The Non-Academic Staff Union of the polytechnic had been embroiled in a fight with the management over salary arrears and de-migration of their salary structure.

The disagreement had degenerated to a crisis, leading to the shutdown of the school.
