In keeping with his administration's commitment towards fulfilling its campaign promises and social contract with the people, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, today inspected the ongoing rehabilitation of old UNTH-Bunker Road, Enugu, to ascertain the level of work done by the contractor as well as find out from the people of the area their assessment of the contractor's performance.

The people's governor, who trekked tirelessly while inspecting the road amid excitement and cheers from traders and residents of the area, assured them of his administration's intervention towards the speedy completion of the project.

He also visited the hitherto abandoned Hotel Presidential Enugu and the state's Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Centre by Ebeano Tunnel junction, GRA, Enugu.

Enugu State is in the hands of God. #amokelouis
this work is for local government not a governor.

Only in Nigeria that a governor will abandon all his strategic and executive duties and be inspecting gutters all around town and people will be hailing him an action governor. Where is that done? Only in Nigeria I guess. And they have works commissioners, DG public works and uncountable special assistants.

U guys complain like goats...

There was a time in this country governors remain in their office doing their executives job..

But we realise the things which they asked subordinates to do was eventually not done....

Now states whose governors where able to do onsite inspection, was found to be moving forward ... Like Lagos, ebonyi and few others..

So test let them move and inspect as much as they can to avoid abandoned project...

Nigeria is not yet at that level of UK, US, etc, so stop comparing and use ur tongue count ur teeth, u keyboard warriors

You guys reason like idiots, imagine what a human being in the 21st century is arguing. Buhari too should have been inspecting rail projects all around Nigeria while Amechi chills in the office. When illiterate followers don't understand what delegation of duties is, this is exactly how they respond to issues.
