Why do women continue to stay with men who cheat on them?

Finally 14) Because atimes the person does deserve a second chance, nobody is perfect. After you've been with somebody and known the person, some actions you feed to the dogs Cos you know the person was just a victim of circumstance. The question is, how many chances does the person deserve?

I just hope women learn. The same women that are being cheated would have rejected the advance of a honest guy.

All these are so so true. And in addition to these, many women especially back home (and probably in most of Africa) have the notion (foisted on their psyche by their mothers, relatives and the society) that if they leave a cheating husband the next man in their life would more likely than not be just as bad or probably worse (which is a throw back of cute-ass's point 1 about it being the inherent nature of men to cheat). In addition, attitudes passed down from generation to generation always see people back home (especially mothers of the distressed wives whose husbands have cheated on them) tell the wife that she would be a fool to leave her husband just because he merely cheated on her, and then comes the homily of how the mother stuck with the girl's father throughout all the years of his numerous infidelities and even when he fathered a few bastards, but that now they are still together and the man cherishes her (mind you, this is usually by the time the man is old and useless at maybe 70 or so. . . LOL. Lawd have mercy).

Women have to learn that you CAN be happy on your own. When men understand that women will not put up with the crap of their cheating, there will be a paradigm shift in attitudes and behaviours. Obviously, cheating would not be eradicated, but it would not be seen as a male prerogative.

What the Zap i wanna know is why woman have kids for man that will not propose to them.

EX,The rapper TI is dating some girl call Tiny.They have over 3 kids together and he will not ask her hand in marriage.WTF!!~~If U dont put a ring on my finger,I damn sure will not be popping kids out 4 U!!

Actually thats here in America. In Nigeria sha i think it'd be a different story, the man and the woman would be forced to marry each other whether they like it or not.

People go with their feelings and forget their brains. One can give many reasons for this question (good sex, money, etc) . But I think its also the fear of starting all over again after investing soo much time and effort into one particular person/relationship.

Its not that women are stupid. . . Its just that women have a sense of forgiveness and great hopes and patience! Haaaa. . . We are the humble kind and may God send all of us to Heaven when we die.

No one talks about it because it doesnt happen. Men dont stay with women who arent faithful. Majority of Nigerian men in general are repulsed by the idea of being with a woman who cheats. That's why a man cheating on a woman is so unfair because the truth is, if it was her cheating on him, he would dump her without a second thought.

Cos it takes a stupid man/woman to fall in love, and the whole essence of love defies normal logic; hence the reason we all get suckered every now and then. When a woman truly loves a guy its difficult to let go of him even when its obvious he is a jerk, the "stupid" guy knows that she loves him and preys on this fact, knowing that whenever he gets dumped or fed up of the other gals there is someone he can always go back to.
It sucks really, but sometimes its the price people pay for love, i'r rather say its the men who do such things to women that are "stupid"
