No one can threaten Buhari with impeachment under our watch – Omo-Agege
The Deputy Senate President, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege, on Thursday, said the era where President Muhammadu Buhari was threatened with “impeachments” by the previous legislature was over with his emergence as Deputy Senate President and that of Sen. Ahmed Lawan, Senate President.

“Gone are those when impeachment threats will be issued to the President. But today we are having a house where you have the Senate President, Sen. Ahmed Lawan and myself combined, we will make Nigeria better with the supports of all Nigerians.”





Sen. Omo-Agege made the assertion in his country home, Orogun in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.

Sen. Omo-Agege said he his occupying the position of “Deputy Senate President” because President Muhammadu Buhari made it possible for him.

This is sure to be the worst Senate ever

And this is a suppose Lawmaker or President Body Guard?.

Anyway I blame ignorance even among the educated ones who voted and defend this office holders who doesn't know their Job description.

Until we start holding this guys accountable for what they are sent to Abuja to do, they will continue to defend their pocket and that of their family instead of those who gave them mandate.

How will the president apply caution or be put on his toes if he knows that those who are to checkmate him are actually defending him?.

For those who defend this politicians irrespective of party/religion or tribe, just know that we are all in the mess together.

Let me say this, we deserve better. We deserve leaders who put the people first and build for future.

It iss not about Hause, Fulani, Igbo, Yoruba, Efik, etc. It is about good governance and development.

In case you are comfortable today, you can become a victim of this directly or indirectly tomorrow.

We ain't expecting any impeachment move from rubber stamps. We expect more of mace thefts.

Let us also remind these mace snatching, slapping appendages that the most agile senate in Nigeria's history led by Saraki NEVER initiated impeachment proceedings on Buhari.
