This Govt dey try for the poor.

I like this bottom - Up approach than the top-trickle down approach of the PDP where it is assumed that once few individuals have the money and acquired private jets, it will somehow trickle down to the rest of the populace.

That approach ensures that the gap between the poor and the rich was widening. But the Buhari / APC approach is set to bridge that gap.
abeg nor talk this kind thing again o, so you think 10k is something to be applauded for? not in support of pdp either, both have failed the country but this trader money thing is rubbish

A whole 23k people benefited from the program despite their mouth on Nairaland. I think they say they are more than that kind of money.

They are just so pompous
i don't think it's about being pompous although Nigerians are funny people who are mostly hypocrites but that 10k is just laughable.

You think it is laughable because you are seeing it from your own angle. Many people are doing business with 2500 naira that they borrow

. Remember 23, 000 petty traders in Enugu alone, applied and were given this loan. For some petty traders, the total amount of their wares is about that N10k. You give them a loan of 10k, you automatically double their capital.
The N10 is for you to build your credit history. As you pay back the Loan, you are approved for higher loan. N15k, N20k up to N50K. From there you graduate to medium scale business and can access Market money loan, which is up to N350K. Mind you these are colateral free loan. No bank will borrow you money without collateral but Govt is using this scheme for people to build their credit history. It shows that when you borrow, you can pay back. At some point when you have grown your business to a large scale, you can access millions of Naira from BOI. Then you would be required to present your business plans, show your credit history, provide collaterals etc. This is why the trader moni is considered a bottom - up approach.
