Former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has said that the fugitive leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, is the most powerful leader in southern Nigeria, Igbere TV reports.

Mr Kanu had last week called on Biafrans to ‘disgrace’ and ‘arrest’ President Muhammadu Buhari on his trip to Japan.

President Buhari arrived Japan on Monday to attend the Seventh Tokyo International Conference on African Development.

The TICAD7, as it is known for short, will take place in the City of Yokohama from August 28 to 30.

In a tweet on Monday, Mr Fani-Kayode, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), described Kanu as the most courageous and powerful leader in southern Nigeria who says what other leaders in the region cannot dare to say.

“@MaziNnamdiKanu is the most courageous and most powerful southern leader in Nigeria today. He says things that other southern leaders think but dare not say. He is a formidable force and a major factor in our politics. If the FG had sense they would not have treated him so badly,” he said.

Kanu had supported the attack on former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, on August 17 by IPOB members in Nuremberg, Germany.

Senator Ekweremadu was billed to give a keynote address at the Second Annual Cultural Festival and Convention organised by Ndi-Igbo Germany.

The lawmaker was accused by IPOB members of conspiring with the Federal Government to proscribe the group in the South East and the killing of its followers.Former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has said that the fugitive leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, is the most powerful leader in southern Nigeria.

Simple.

Let them go. By doing so, everybody wins.

You cannot force unity and loyalty.

A small and effective country like Ghana, Bostwana and Rwanda is preferred to the giant unjust country like Nigeria where they have just 2,800MW of electricity for its 200 million inhabitants..

someone who stays in Nigeria to insult and oppose buhari compared to someone who runs abroad to do same who is more courageous.

If fani kayode was in his right frame of mind he will know that he is more courageous than a kanu who ran away .
Freedom fighters have always stated in their country to fight for their rights, the case we have here seems suspicious of someone being paid to do a job rather than fighting for his people.

Is Nnamdi kanu a southern leader ?
Nnamdi kanu is a maggot from Igbo (Eastern Nigeria) origin.
He makes empty threats .
IPOB should also prove that the videos and photos of the group in Japan waiting for Buhari is not doctored or fake.
I only pity the Igbo families that have lost their bread winners while following the cowardice(empty threats) leadership pattern of nnamdi kanu.
