The guy is right!
But suppose he was as efficient as his job demand's
Maybe we won't be against him
Besides for a country as blessed as nigeria
The senate can afford to use such money
But what is paining me is the fact that after ''legally'' collecting this money they would still go ahead to loot the hell out of nigeria

Coming from a senator from a state with a very low HDI beyond even the dismal National Average. The effort a typical secondary school teacher put in a month is more than what these so-called "law makers" put in in their entire term, yet the former retires with a pitiable amount as gratuity.

If you check well, you'll hardly find reasonable evidence to justify the constituency allowance he has been receiving.

Further evidence our senators are mostly idiots:

" It is an insult to say that a senator of the Federal Republic cannot ride a jeep in Nigeria."

A jeep is NOT a type of vehicle.....it is a model of off-road vehicle under the Fiat Chrysler brand.

And they're yet to pay 30K for minimum wage??
God will continue to punish the angel that directed me to Nigeria!!
the car is for 109 senators.

Buying them SUV isnt out of place but reduce cost we should let only one senator from each state and two reps from each state. Even the no of ministers and special advisers should reduce. There should be nothing like minister of state also.

Senator I beg don't be annoyed because of the insult, I recommend each Senator should have a JET. A Senator from my district needs a JET whenever is visiting home as the Federal road between Ado and Akure is a death trap.

Mr. Senate leader sir, shut up already! You don't know what an insult is.
An insult is when the tax-payers whose money you want to use to buy the SUV are denied 30,00 minimum wage
An insult is when the Senate can not act on time to bring home nNgerians stranded in South Africa but shamelessly congratulates a tax-payer whose leadership instinct brought those Nigerians home
It is an insult when the senate cannot properly screen ministers but resort to 'take a bow' chant.
It is an insult when you can't float a bill on closing boarders on traveling abroad for medical treatments and schooling, not just on imported food. It should be extended to imported health and certificates too.
It is an insult you are still a senator.
Infact, gerarahia!

It is not an insult when #30'000 salary remains illusive? Electricity tariff increased in darkness, illegal distortion from banks, now I will be charged for putting my money in bank, greater number of families can't afford 1 bedroom flat talk less of 2 bedroom flat, education for the highest bidder, primary healthcare in shambles!

What about the dilapidated roads scattered everywhere no wonder there life is tied in the SUV according to him is repayable even when he knows they are auctioned out to their relative's. Even when securing a bank loan for ordinary citizens is an impossible venture!

NASS members shamelessly kept mute #10'000 was given out to the some people in scam called trader money as a repayable loan! which insult is bigger than this?

Let him not insult our sensibility, this country is sitting on gun cake powder! What kind of school did they pass through that they feel we are illiterate? As a lawmaker can he give us statistics of families that have car (s) and those that don't have that made him to justify a senator to buy an SUV worth #50'000 000:00? When the various families can't afford 2 square meals pay day!

Did you go to the House to lobby for cars worth 5.5 billion ?? Misplaced priorities ... Beside how much is your constituency project .... Yet you all fighting for selfish interest.... If he was talking about increasing constituency project then the masses will understand....
For Christ sake Whats the hardship allowance for and then you pay the traders that really need help peanuts

Does the distinguished senator realize that spending 5.5B on cars for 109 senators equates to more than 50 Million Naira per car/person?

What happened to moderately priced cars of about 15m? are the 5.5B cars going to take them to their promised land?

Oh Nigeria...
