The road is being worked on at the moment. The road is a federal road and has received an approval from the government. Contractors are presently on site and work has started yesterday.

The contractor or the government should have waited till dry season to fix that road rather each party considered what they would gain.

Why are you blaming trailers and heavy duty vehicles instead of blaming the failed government and leaders

So in order not to spoil the roads, trailers should stop plying Nigerian roads How then will people move their goods and materials since the same failed government cannot fix Nigeria's railways without being tribalistic with which routes to construct rails and which not to

This is bad especially for those on daily business and that have to hustle and bustle.

Most of the cities close to the water in the South should just be constructed above sea level. Bridges and highways are expensive but repeated repairs and wash-away even more expensive.

That's the consequences of not having railway to transport heavy duty goods. Even ordinary fuel instead of being transported by pipelines is being trucked by road. No road in the world can withstand such load for long. The same phenomenon us affecting apapa oshodi expressway, Lagos Ibadan expressway and Lagos - sagamu road.

Which federal government? Road is being constructed with state money. The last time the governor fixed the road the Buhari government failed to remit the money that's why this time they were reluctant to move a inch initially.

Both the elected Local Governments and Governor of Delta State knows that it's animals and not humans beings that lives in that City. So yes, they will not care to bother fixing such a disgusting road.

They also know that no one will hold them accountable.

I can't be arguing with you on a faceless forum. I was at the press conference on Monday at the government House. By the way the last time the road was done was 10 years ago by Setraco. Although 4 yrs ago the Federal government approved the project but money was not released for it.

A friend did 5 hours Warri to Oghara using the Eku Amukpe route 2 days ago. Yesterday, I used the method I posted and arrived few minutes past an hour, plus saw the trailers and tankers that lined up that axis cause it was blocked
