Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, has declared his readiness to waive his constitutional immunity to “enable the most robust adjudication” of several baseless allegations, insinuation and falsehoods against his person and office.

Prof. Osinbajo made this declaration in a tweet he personally authored this afternoon.


Below is the full text of his tweet:

“In the past few days, a spate of reckless and malicious falsehoods have been peddled in the media against me by a group of malicious individuals.

“The defamatory and misleading assertions invented by this clique had mostly been making the social media rounds anonymously.

“I have today instructed the commencement of legal action against two individuals, one Timi Frank and another Katch Ononuju, who have put their names to these odious falsehoods.

“I will waive my constitutional immunity to enable the most robust adjudication of these claims of libel and malicious falsehood.”

As long as the trio of Lai Mohammed, Garba Shehu and Femi Adesina have not come out to debunk any rift between the VP's office and Buhari/Cabal , then the houseboy is just making noise.

Why has Tinubu's camp not come out to deny the 6bn shortfall claim?

Osinbanjo should channel all his energy towards clearing his name over the various scandals raised against him instead of trying to gag people from reporting and commenting on his scandal .

If he chooses to waive his immunity then he should be prepared to get his ass sued as well.
