OP point of correction, there is nothing like Hausa/Fulani. We have Fulanis which speaks Fulfulde and are majorly herdsmen while we have Hausa who speak Hausa and are largely farmers.

I guess each 'country' will put military zones along their border and shoot at one another while raiders pay to cross to come and vandalise and plunder. See India-Pakistan-Bangladesh, or North and South Korea.

If Nigeria breaks up, we will look back on these days as a glorious past!

We in this part of the country will look back and smile, we shall joyfully say good riddance to a bad rubbish.

If Nigeria breaks up, how sure are you that all the problems of now will be solved.
I have said it and will repeat it, the problem of Nigeria is not secession, but our politicians and the mindset of our people.
Even if Nigeria breaks into a thousand pieces, the same problem will still surface. The problem of Nigeria is not necessary the structure or form of government, it's the people. The value system of its people is warped. Nigeria values vanity, greed, avarice, sudden wealth, unmerited rewards instead of integrity, honesty, hard work and merit based reward system.

We have tried parliamentary system, it failed.
We tried military system, it failed.
We tried presidential system, it failed.
We tried military system again, it failed.
We tried presidential system again, it's failing.
So which system shall we try next?

We started out with four region structure, it failed.
We tried a four state unitary system, it fails. ( shouts of marginalisation by minorities abound )
We tried 12 state structure, shouts of marginalisation increased.
We tried 19 state structure, still shout of marginalisation by minorities.
Ditto for 21 state structure.
Now, with a 36 state structure, you will think shouts of marginalisation will cease, but alas it is getting worse. Even the major tribes are now crying marginalisation and not just minority tribes.

So what political structure can we practice without shouts of marginalisation from one tribe or the other.

I am of the opinion that we cannot restructure our political structure without restructuring our value system.

Even if all the current set of leaders are killed, a new set of selfish leaders will rise, to take over.
Average black man fear death, empower everyone to own a gun, the leaders will sit up, they know that if they misbehave, the people will rise to shoot them down.
Only a violent change will solve the problem, the so called leaders in this part of the world, are too selfish.
You think if a police man knew, that the bus driver he wants to harrass and extort could be carrying a gun, would the policeman not think twice?.
Initially, blood will flow but the situation will change.
This is what happened in America, Americans of the era of colonization and slavery are far more greedier and evil, than Nigerians of today.
But look at America today.

Your people are being killed under the federal government ...u think he should have submitted him self to the same federal government ?

But boro was fighting for his niger delta people whose oil was being exploited and their land polluted yet ojukwu fought him. Why are you trying to justify ojukwu’s treachery against the niger delta people if not that you are wicked?

So you are justifying boros defeat by ojukwu. Just so you know, the Fulani used ojukwu to achieve their aim and later defeated him using the same boro. That’s what is called used and dumped. The south southerners can see how much you love them.

Yes, it wasn't Ojukwu. Small time from now, you and your duplicitous ilk will be telling us, it was Awo- your greatest nemesis that pulled down Boro's insurrection grin

Theres no need to break up Nigeria.

The only way that such bold actions could possibly yield as positive results as intended, is for there to be a continental understanding.

I totally disagree with the suggestion that Op's thread is making.

Assuming your argument is that all of Africa should return to our old lines and boundaries, i totally agree with that thought process.

Assuming its a continental project then i will be the first to sign up.

Show us a link where Ojukwu took troops to crush Adaka Boro. This lie has gone on for long unchallenged
