Nigerian citizens are the problem of Nigeria not the politicians.

Think through the comment to understand.

Bought our generator
Paid for our vigilante
We pay taxes, we endure the bad roads
We are plagued with insecurity
These days citizens are fighting alongside the army

Nigeria is Nigeria.

If the north is bad, Nigeria is bad!

If a foreigner ask you where you are from, what would be your reply?

Nigeria!

Nigeria is not getting any better with the current system, most youths are filled with hate for the other ethnics, these same youth would grow up to be leaders and the hate continues.

Its time to keep tribal sentiments aside and face the reality.

Peace!

Well, it can't stop except the leaders decide to be truthful and show love. With the current system practised by northern leaders who have vowed never to allow a particular region rule, the hate in nigeria will continue. If only we can have just one leader who will come in, heal thr country with true love, show love, treat every tribe equally, then begin process of amending the constitution, these will gradually flow into the heart of the masses.

The second option is if the masses can team up and fight their unrepentant leaders.

Op, if you want to weep for Nigeria or yourself @59, you can keep weeping. It is your choice, others will have their own reasons also to celebrate! Among all the beautiful and positive pictures and events in Nigeria, these are the only ones you could find. The pictures do not reflect real Nigeria, there is no country of the world that do not have slum areas, poor people or problem they are facing internally. Even though we are not there yet as a nation, there are still rooms for improvement from government and all of us. Instead of carrying camera hunting for terrible events to snap, do little help practically to help people around you to get better lifes. No government can do it all. Trump many of us see as semi-god is facing his own with America, gun shooting and killing has increased in his first tenure despite tagging it as land of opportunity. We are the cause of our problems most times, when government provide chairs, some bad people and staffs will go and steal them and later blame government.

All of us should play our parts so we can have better Nigeria. Parents should give birth to children they have financial resources and moral capability to cater for, they shouldn't give birth recklessly and expect God to take care of them on their behalves.

Our leaders should play their parts well by governing right, entertainers should be good role models and they should stop modelling bad youths into our societies.

Government workers should desist from eye-service, they should work with fear of God. Doctors and lecturers should stop selling little equipment and drugs government provided to laboratories and hospitals. Jobless individual should be more hardworking and get lawfull plan B to get little income without engaging in stealing, kidnapping and other attrocity.

Poverty is never an excuse to engage in crime, we have poor people who do not engage in stealing while we have rich people with billions in their accounts who are still stealing and claiming other people's properties. Government should discharge his own duties and govern with constitution and fear of God. We will get there!

Totally agree. We as individuals have a role to play in making Nigeria better. Not just sit and blame the govt. In your own little corner Apeshy101 WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

The OP is just a pessimist. Is every hospital in Nigeria like that, is every school in Kwara state like that? Sensationalism will get us nowhere. After this thread, what next?

P.S. - please space your comment next time smiley, will be easier to read

What do you expect when her citizens troop out en-masse to protest why one Tacha was evicted from BBN but sit back at home while Sowore remains in custody despite a court order. We are our own problem and we must either live with it or rise to the challenge.

Please tell them. There are slums even in the western countries yet you don't see them showcasing. Let's keep branding our country in a useless way and later blame others for seeing us that way.

Thanks sir, i second you; indeed, i can do what the OP has just done, but i can also choose to show some good things, too. I would rather showcase the good while praying for peace for without peace there is no progress in any form. it is only we Nigerians that can fix Nigeria, coming here to be emotional and divisive just to earn "likes" from the 'bank full', of haters does not change the dire need for unity and peace. unfortunately, when men like FFK and Reno Omokri, keeps fanning the embers of hatred , strife and divisions we still have a long way to go. We all must see the continuance of the geographical landmass known as Nigeria as non negotiable and non debatable. moreover, if Jonathan or Atiku were to come back today, does that guarantee peace, harmony and progress which you and i crave like a thirsty man, water?

Other countries have governments that WORK and that provide a secure environment and good infrastructure for the conduciveness of business, education and prosperity.

The Nigerian government does NONE of the above and is therefore a failed government led by corrupt , clueless and cruel leaders.

Trump many of us see as semi-god is facing his own with America, gun shooting and killing has increased in his first tenure despite tagging it as land of opportunity.

Nothing on the scale of MASS MURDER all over Nigeria but especially in the NORTH.

We are the cause of our problems most times, when government provide chairs, some bad people and staffs will go and steal them and later blame government.

Even a child knows that Government officials have siphoned MONEY meant for the country to their personal accounts. Corruption, fraud, nepotism and religious bigotry has disabled good governance and enabled anarchy.

All of us should play our parts so we can have better Nigeria.

Starting from the Government

Parents should give birth to children they have financial resources and moral capability to cater for, they shouldn't give birth recklessly and expect God to take care of them on their behalves.

Nigerians are damn hard workers and will look frantically for opportunities to make money to cater for their families. The problem is, even families with 2 children are suffering. There are no good roads, poor transportation, tribal favouritism, zero electricity and gross insecurity. Therefore starting and maintaining a business is hard , very hard.

Poverty is never an excuse to engage in crime, we have poor people who do not engage in stealing while we have rich people with billions in their accounts who are still stealing and claiming other people's properties. Government should discharge his own duties and govern with constitution and fear of God. We will get there!
