Activist Deji Adeyanju has expressed his dissatisfaction with Nigerian youths for shying away from several pressing issues in the country.

While apologising to President Buhari for attacking him when he said Nigerian youths are lazy, Deji went as far as calling Nigerian youths, the most hopeless youths in the world.

He wrote on Twitter: 'I want to apologize to President Buhari today for attacking him when he said Nigerian youths are lazy. Nigerian youths are not only lazy, they are the most hopeless youths in the world. They have no future and there’s no hope for them.'

for the first time am seeing you supporting this govt you so criticized. ....if you say we are lazy, first ask what the gov't has provided or put in place for us not to be lazy? than I will answer you....
you think its easy to hold on several years after graduation and no job?
you think its easy to get business start up here in Nigeria?
you think its easy you pay for things (bills) you are not enjoying or using to your satisfaction e.g. nepa , phone credits, water etc
you think its easy reaching 40 years many youths never settle down or even begin think am?
you think its easy gov't pays the youths N19500 for serving the national, while 13 millions are paid to senators monthly
