I am irritated as f!ck right now,I remember how these fanatics went on rampage and started killing Christians in the North because an unknown person made a karikature of Muhammed's image... For almost all our history as Africans, religion has shaped our moral compass, yet no significant or sustainable progress or development. This is 2019 and we're still discussing issues like this, why should we be stuck in the past when the present and future looks so auspicious. It's really worrisome having debates and waking up to news like these!

No NORMAL, INSANE Govt should stand or represent a particular religion in a secular society like Nigeria. How can you use the money meant to better the lives of both Christians and Muslims in a state to give special privileged and attention to muslims. If any event had happened to the Christian community, would that so called "gov" had taken all these measures?

Zamfara appears to have an unending supply of religious idiots and they always come to prominence as governors. Sharia palaver started from that state, next they blamed an outbreak on sinful lifestyles and now the entire lock down of a school to investigate pages of quran in a sewage. They have now dedicated critical manpower to this ridiculous enterprise and this is a state that it's cutoff marks for admission to unity schools is 2 and 4 for boys n girls respectively.

Now if there happened to be one Christian pupil or teacher in that school, some hungry bigot may just concoct one story to get the reward while slaking the thirst for Christian blood. And when we say this cuntry needs to break some idiots will cry secession!

If you must serve a god, look for one that will respect your inquisitive nature. Not one that forbids freedom and questioning.

Any f*cking God that depends on human ignorance for protection and promotion deserves no attention.

Any stupid God that uses fear and punishment as a tool for manipulation or forceful loyalty is nothing but a product of egoistic imagination.

How can a rational human being fight on behalf of his creator, isn't that insultive?

If Quran belongs to an all powerful and an all knowing God, why should one stupid follower take it upon himself to fight in its defence?

If pages of the so called sacred book can float comfortably inside a sewage, then, it's just like any sheets of paper with ink. Any importance attached to it is man-made.

The moment you let go of your reasonability for one popular irrational ideology, you lost the right to live.

Firstly, I'll advise you to learn how to express yourself without being abusive. Everyone has a right to their opinion - no matter how foolish it seems to you - learn to live with that.

Secondly, every country -even secular states- have the right to protect the religious beliefs and symbols of it's citizens.

If Nigeria is backward it's not because she's investing in religion. Does Nigeria have a tenth of Saudi's Islamic investment? Absolutely not. Yet, Saudi gives many Nigerians - Muslims and non-Muslims - scholarships to study and work in their country. So, religion isn't the problem of this country.

Yes, some corrupt folks may camouflage under the guise of religion but the vast majority of the corrupt cabals have nothing to do with religion. Is Tinubu religious? Is Saraki religious or is Ikpeazu and Rochas religious?

I'm here to listen to you, if you'll avoid insults. Other than that expect no response.

I must confess that Nigeria is a failure. I remember how the Holy Bible has been manhandled but nobody makes noise about it. If you continue like this, we all be set this country on fire. I am not in support of this, but we need to be careful so that we do not set the country ablaze.

Things like this make us a laughing stock to the world. If the god of Islam to whom Muslims pay homage and allegiance is indeed powerful enough to save all adherents of the faith, both from present and eternal damnation; isn't it suffice to allow such a god defend himself or his interest at any point in time? To think it is we who must do the fight and beheading for a spiritual being who is acclaimed to be so powerful is an incredible paradox and a total absurdity. Things like this constitute a bulk of reasons why we are stuck here as a Nation, Our faith should be a personal thing to us and therefore rightly distinguished from governance and constitutional responsibility bestow on us, abdicating the primary responsibility of governance in pursuit of frivolous religious matter is a distraction to say the least. If he claims to be acting in God's stead, what if it was the Bible that was found in such state, would he expedite same zeal in bringing the offender to book or is Zamfara home to Muslims alone? Moreover the materials upon which this things are printed are subject to deterioration, instead of chasing shadows why not let the ministry of Environment or it's sister agency educate people on how to dispose of this book properly, since it must deteriorate and be disposed of someday even without an intention to cause harm, or is it to be assumed that no quran have become old and tattered enough to be disposed off, trashed or even burnt to asses by many disciples of the faith or do they archived them for posterity?. If Christians were to involve themselves in such a fight we probably may have to fight on daily basis as the Bible and christian materials are sometimes discarded with gusto equanimity, with nobody giving a damn since the Christian God have capacity to fight and defend himself when challenged, Muslim adherents must learn this christian attitude of not fighting for God, if they are to be seen as been peaceful. What happens if the offender is finally apprehended or an innocent person out of envy or hatred from some quarters is framed up as the culprit? He might be killed without giving a fear hearing or opportunity to defend himself in a competent court of law. They then end up as murderers with blood stained hands and vile conscience awaiting God's judgement, while they go basking in the euphoria of serving with a holy zeal and doing sacrifice to God.
