Here in Aba Abịa State, nothing is going on. There was light earlier today for about 2 hours and since then, no light. There was a matching parade by a school on the street earlier today but, rain disrupted it. Now everyone is back home relaxing and kids are outside playing. Arriaria Market is also shut and other commercial activities around it are slowed down. From my View, I will say Aba people living around Arriaria axis are less concerned about the independence day celebration. How is it going in your side ?? Can you say that Nigerians living in your vicinity is truly proud of Nigeria?? Keep the comment coming 4 Likes |

I have been hustling under the rain since morning. Independence celebration is for government workers and those earning good pay. Not for business people like us. 13 Likes 1 Share |

Uyo has been quiet. It's a public holiday so most people are indoors. On my part, I updated my blog this morning. Now I'm on my way to buy an office chair for my home office. In the evening, I'll tackle a freelance job and get it delivered, then possibly start a new book for Kindle if sleep allows me. I'll move my life forward whether my country moves forward or not. 24 Likes 1 Share |

Celebrate what in particular?
Hunger?
Poverty?
Oppression?
Crisis?
Kidnapping?
And many more right?
Only God can save us from these heartless men
