The Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) has condemned what it described as barbaric and disgraceful the attack on peaceful protest of its members by South African police.

The group said the act was an indication that state sanctioned politics of savagery has taken firm hold in Cyril Ramaphosa’s South Africa.

In a statement on Thursday signed by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, the group linked the attack to President Muhammadu Buhari who “influenced Ramaphosa to order his police to open fire on peaceful Biafran protesters.”

“The crass display of primitive police brutality and anti-democratic antecedents of the South African police is confirmation if any is needed, that black Africa is hopeless and doomed,” it said.

The group hinted that its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, would in a broadcast later in the day provide in-depth examination and analysis of the unfolding events in South Africa.

Why would anyone attack people on peaceful protest? what is it with Africa and their undemocratic ways?

I seriously condemn this act by the SA government.

Highly disgraceful
Why attack people protesting peacefully to be free from this evil contraception called Nigeria. We can never be one with Nigeria, let the yorubers and fulanis enjoy their one Nigeria. We don't want to be part of it anymore, so why use force on us? They hate us, every day it's igbo this, igbo that and yet they don't want to grant referendum. Whether they like it or not, one way or the other, very soon, an incident that will trigger this actualization for good will occur. You can never outshine the sun.

Hate us all you like...
Criticize us all you like...
The truth still remains, we're formidable and we'll never relent.
Freedom comes with prize and that's what we're paying for.
One day, we will complete our payment and our freedom will be granted unto us for eternity.
He who laughs last, laughs best.
All hail Biafra.

Why don't we just allow a referendum?
Let us split this country jejely and let all man waka.
The Igbo nation has spent the last 50 years blaming other regions for their inertia.
Even when their 'adopted son' GEJ was in power, they did not move an inch forward.
This is not a tribal shot, this is a movement. Let it be known that the rest of Nigeria is not holding the East.
Some of us actually support the movement.

Whoever wants to go, can fuuuuuck the hell off!!!

FG, please, grant us a referendum.
