1. Court grants Sowore bail at 100 million Naira.

A Federal High Court in Abuja has granted bail to politician and convener of #RevolutionNow protest, Omoyele Sowore and his co-defendant, Olawale Adebayo Bakare.

The conditions of bail for Sowore include 100 million Naira and two sureties in like sum; prohibition from traveling out of Abuja.

2. Facebook removes accounts from Nigeria, Egypt, others.

Facebook has removed 443 Facebook accounts and 125 Instagram accounts; 200 pages and 76 groups stemming from UAE, Egypt, Nigeria and Indonesia as well.
According to the company, these accounts were involved in coordinated inauthentic behaviour.

3. Buhari and Ramaphosa sign Agreement over xenophobic attacks.

Several weeks after Xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa, Nigerian president, Buhari travelled on a 3 day visit to South Africa on Wednesday.

They agreed that early warning mechanisms will be set to detect hostility between citizens of both countries, and Buhari also assured that there would be compensation for victims.

Up to 32 agreements were signed.

4. IPOB members protest against President Buhari in South Africa.

Indigenous People of Biafra members led protests outside the Union Buildings in Pretoria, South Africa’s seat of presidency, during President Muhammadu Buhari’s visit. The South African police later confronted them with guns and tear gas.
