The foundation blocks in some sections of this foundation will be very high, due to the slope of the land.........

I see ur pillar rods are in a basket of 6. Tot they are usually 4, is that based on the size and design of the pillar? Are they 16mm rods or a mixture of 16 and 12.

It's based on the design of the building, the calculated load of the building and the environmental factors around the site. There are buildings where 4 rods are specified, and there are buildings which 6 or more rods are specified. This is the result of structural calculations and planning. We used 16mm rods for all the column rods.

The high foundation will definitely increase the building costs. As the foundation height increases, there will definitely be more blocks used, more reinforcement rods, more sand and chippings, more cement and filling sand/ labor payments.

But we always study the land to know what it will need before we start a work. We budgeted for this high foundation from the start.

I encountered high wall on my build. I filled it but regretted not doing a basement instead.
