Has APC Forgiven Orji Kalu For His ₦7.6bn Alleged Fraud? by samueloduoye(m): 2:23am On Oct 19, 2019
Former governor of Abia State, Orji Kalu, is among politicians who have pitched their tent with the All Progressives Congress (APC) to escape the rod of the anti-corruption war. It will be remembered that his old colleague, Godswill Akpabio, was moving near jail until he left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2018.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is reportedly prosecuting Kalu, along with a former state Commissioner for Finance, Udeh Udeogu, and his company, Slok Nigeria Limited, for the alleged fraud on an amended 39 counts.

To bring this to bear, a Network for the Advancement of Good Governance (NAGG) recently protested the delayed trial of the former Abia North Senator. He has been in the EFCC’s net over alleged ₦7.6bn fraud, against them since 12 years ago.
