there are no advantages when it comes to creating a country of your own. If you are familiar with the story of Lee Kuan Yu and Singapore,you would know that they had ENORMOUS challenges. It was strictly based on Strong LEADERSHIP and a determination to succeed. Why we always play the card of minerals and geographical location beats my imagination. So countries that don't have access to the sea should all collapse? That's a wrong mindset. Every country has it's problems. I reçently watched a short documentary on water desalination. It shows how countries have issues but continually find ways to solve their problems. It's not compulsory you have a sea to be a successful country.
