It also seeks an increment in the Companies Income tax, Customs and excise, Petroleum Profit Tax, Stamp duties, personal income tax and Capital Income tax. The usual shoddy reporting by Nigeria media. It is not enough to tell us that the bill seeks to increase the rate of the above taxes, we want to know the exact rates that is being proposed. 2 Likes |

As for me, here are some facts. We are not earning enough from oil or from agriculture. So, either taxes go up or more loans. And for those chanting accountability...and you are right, the government is not too good on the accountability issue.....that is why we are a democracy.
