3)Accept a plea pargain deal with the Department of Justice and forfeit all the money laundered with the option of no jail term or a reduced sentence. He will not be the first Nigeria to forfeit money. Bola Tinubu forfeited $460k narcotics proceeds in 1993 in Chicago, USA. without being convicted or charged.
He now joins a list of high profile Nigerians such as Atiku Abubakar,Buruji Kashamu,Bola Tinubu and Invictus Obi who have been caught by the long arms of the law by the Department of Justice.

He should do a plea bargain and cooperate with the authorities. If there are other people involved he should name them and be willing to testify against them
If you agree to a plea bargain and they find out you lied, you will get an additional charge.

Did he make the money from selling drugs in America? He just moved money to America for purpose. Maybe used it for something else instead.

He will only be able to travel to countries that do not have extradition with USA like Somalia and Sudan and will be caged in Nigeria like Buruji Kashamu, who is wanted by the US authorities for drug trafficiking. Air Peace operations will be affected because they will be unable to obtain global financing.

His best option is to go and face the charges.
