Akwa Ibom State under Governor Udom Emmanuel is a beehive of activities in infrastructural expansion. It is about the only administration that has taken a holistic approach towards roads construction and rehabilitation, leading to the 1,700km of roads either completed, ongoing or at various stages of completion.

This morning, a brief stopover at the ongoing Flyover bridge at Ikot Oku Ikono shows accelerated pace of development. A very imposing edifice by construction giants Julius Berger, that will connect Uyo with Abak and invariably contain the traffic from Rivers State axis of the country.

Please someone should tell Enugu state Governor, Ugwuanyi that we need this kind of infrastructure at Abakpa Junction.
