Same scam Need Nwoko used to clean out 350 million dollars ..can't the govt recover it's debt by itself ?

There's nothing wrong if the lawyers actually did some very serious heavy lifting.

For instance, if the debt was basically irrecoverable, they'll be deserving of their fee on any amount recovered.

And it is still the same Malami that insisted on Nwoko being paid when the Governors Forum balked at his suggested consultancy fee.

okay o. This is how a govt should work. It should not take another two years because @ 10% interest rate, that is about $1B lost already

It wouldn't take much time at all because the negotiation is very straight forward: its like a landlord having agreed not increase his tenant's rent beyond a certain limit over a fixed period of years (which had already expired); therefore all he now needs to do is to revise only the rent - not necessarily the entire tenancy with the tenant.

Buhari was said to have questioned how Malami arrived at the five percent commission for a recovery that the federal government can do by itself without engaging any company.
Third term agenda won't be a bad idea if Buhari Government continue to be selfless and patriotic.

Same goes to Paris agreement signed by Nigerian government and afterward Kemi Adeosun (she was part and parcel of the delegates) start ranting about the West not allowing Nigeria to use coal.
