Is there anybody who still doubts that herdsmen are on a mission in this country? Could they be working on behalf of a northern agricultural cabal insistent on keeping the south dependent on the north for food?

They have always been brave, even before their brother was president.
If in doubt, have you heard any update on what happened to those who responded to the fatwa to soak dogs and baboons in blood for losing election in 2011.

Thank God they have been arrested? Why can't they report the case to police instead of storming people's farm.

Let them rot in jail
Funny, who will rot in jail?
How man herdmen you see in jail as a result of murder and destroying farmers property's?
In case you don't know, fulani herdmen had license to carry guns the can kill anyone and destroy farm nothing will happen.

Can't they send thunder after their herds as they did in the neighboring state? These people won't listen until they are handled in the hard way

The state must compensate the farmer other there is going to be problem. You cant keep quiet and not compensate me but you compesate the farmers behind camera.

All CBN supported rice farmers have comprehensive insurance. They have actually not even lost more than N15k each even with the farms burnt as we speak. Such is beauty of anchor borrower programme that city dwelling youths still dont want to participate in

How does one participate? Hope it’s not too tedious and on man know man basis.

They want to silence people in this country. Check this scenario. U give loans to farmers in the north to cultivate rice, then u close the boarder so they can sell the rice. Now the south r cultivating their own rice, u send Fulani herdsmen to destroy their rice farms in the south so that ur north il have no competition. So that they il keep selling rice at an exorbitant price to the masses.

It's probably because they are being bombarded from every corner with negative news and it is becoming difficult to do the necessary thinking and investigations that verifies such claims. Many negative news are targeted at Nigerians by groups created to do this by some governments I’m not going to mention since I have no evidence just informed by word of mouth and even if it is just to be on the safe side Nigeria needs to do something about social media. Serious bill on Social Media need proposing in the house not ones bound to fail because they are tied down by ridiculous clauses such as hanging people.

The law need only force those online vendors such as forums and blogs to enforce those censorships that they already have as part of their agreement of use. It may even be good for the forum and blog owners because they are forced to become more professional and respectable in their work.

How can you have 100 hectares of rice plantation in Nigeria and you won't have adequate security plan on ground.

C'mon farm management goofed.

Herdsmen invasion is the number 1 risk to farming operations in Nigeria today.
