I applied for Tax ID number since November, 2019. Till date FIRS Nnewi is yet to issue me one. Its either there's no network or the FIRS portal is misbehaving. Somebody is in charge of this place, collecting salaries and bonuses yet could not sort out a simple issue of network. How are you going to grow tax revenue if you can't issue something as basic as tax ID number to be to increase your tax base.

I can say authoritatively, that the staff of FIRS are happy to see Fowler go. More than anything, staff welfare is very important.

Fowler really dealt with his staff by cutting down on most of their allowances. To add to that, nepotism became widespread and common.

Thisaboki should keep quite. Northerns literally Nigerian acquired military, custom, NNPC and almost all the major government outfits.....what can they show for it?
