Do kids still do this? Been a while I had any child approach me with one.

Way back some people became Dangote's from it. Some cancelled the unimportant or unrealistic items and replaced them with money.

Please, someone should come sign mine. grin

Lol, I remember when I was still doing this stylish begging, it was a target for me to meet N150 in a day.

"Broda sign for me, God go bless you"

"Sista abeg sign for dis place, make I run go find change for you"

I did it without using my sense till my mom heard of it and gave me a special deliverance with her cane.

I never did it. I know someone who said he would never sign one, he said it breeds entitlement in kids. My parents never allowed it too, because they felt it could expose us to danger. You know how desperate kids can be to get these gifts. Following every uncle and aunty into their flats.

Lol, I made enough money to buy my favourite kito slippers.I didn't beg though, I simply asked.

I was a good kid, so didn't have difficulty receiving.

Then we also learnt we had a lot of promise and fail adults grin

I was too shy to ask anyone for anything, so I simply drank water and stayed on my lane

I never knew these cards where personally made.

I thought they were for a cause like orphanage homes etc.

I had the card (forgotten how it even came about) but was too shy to approach anyone to sign it. I was never outspoken till I entered poly. Nairaland was and is still a big help to me
