You can't arrest an elected President of a sovereign state. The US can't even arrest a foreign diplomat unless they obtain a permission from the government of such country to waive such person's immunity clause. A president can only be arrested if found guilty of war crimes by the UN security council as stated in international humanitarian law. Summary: If Atiku is elected as a President, he can't be arrested in the United States! |

^^^^ You thinking that your President, whoever he is, will be arrested in a Foreign Land is inferiority complex. No elected President of any sovereign lady can be arrested anywhere by anybody. It is against international laws and the fact that you are even thinking about it smacks of ignorance and inferiority complex. |

they dont arrest president. even if he has no warrant against him now, he cant be arrested. Even if the warrant is just within a state in the USA. He can travel to other state within the USA, if he want to go and clear his name. |

Dis Guy: The difference is that Atiku is a wanted man in the US. He and his wife ran away from America to avoid appearing in court cases for which they could be imprisoned for pretty seriou crimes. The US has really raised the stakes on money laundering (in the patriot act) since 9/11 and amongst other infringements, Atiku laundered 40 billa. Some of Atiku's relations with murky groups in the ND, also make him a person of interest to the wider World. Here is a man whose criminality might be intense enough to affect the price of crude. . . Not a laughing matter. The day Atiku steps in the US, he will be put under lock and key. Damn, it might even be a straight swap, we get access to Cheney, they get Atiku. |
