they mistook the Plane as a fighter jet or Missile. It was a stupid error. Even US knows it is an error. They were jittery and tensed.
Sir a fighter jet and a passenger airline do not show up on the radar the same way. A passenger airline moves at steady speed and altitude, a fighter jet does not, it uses evasive maneuver. And how can you mistake a passenger jet as a missile, lol, not possible. The heat signatures are different. This is 2020, not 1975. Military tech has improved greatly. Trump said "shot down possibly by mistake" because it's a sensitive matter, civilian lives were lost and it's wrong and uncivilized to play politics with the deceased. How do you think the families and relatives would feel if word got out that their loved ones were blown to bits out of the sky intentionally. That kind of info is too crude for people who are still grieving.

I foresaw and anticipated these protests by anti-government forces and Iranian citizens. The Ayatollah regime are in a deep hole now. The US SOS Pompeo and President Donald Trump have already tweeted in support of the protesters and promised backing, which obviously means funding (money, weapons, intel, CIA involvement and international pressure). The US also warned of serious consequences if the Iran government massacres the protesters like it did a short time ago. The more the protests continue, the more it grows, the more it grows, regime change is imminent and the Ayatollah reign ends. But if they crackdown on protesters and kill them, public sympathy grows, they will lose their public support base, and the entire country will turn against the Ayatollah regime, and "US funding" will start to happen, which eventually will lead to regime change. So either ways, regime change is imminent. The Ayatollah's regime will fall in a matter of time. A very big win for America, especially because Donald Trump and the US military think-tank pulled it off without a single American troop boot on ground in Iran. This is called Strategic Warfare at its finest. But over 10 years now our own military is still battling with Boko Haram, over N1 trillion naira spent, thousands of soldiers dead, billions of military equipment and hardware lost, and the enemy is still undefeated. Because they know nothing about strategic warfare, or maybe they do and Boko Haram is just their golden cash cow.
you are right. The protesters had been dispersed by the Iran police, the UK ambassador who orchestrated the protest from Tehran university had also been arrested, the Iranians are wiser and not greedy like most of the countries US destabilize in this manner, they would rallies round their govt, but for now the protest already ended nd CIA fails again

And none of the Iran haters is able to analyze the last statement.
There's nothing you can do to cover it up or hide it," said Anthony Brickhouse, an air safety expert at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and former US National Transportation Safety Board investigator. "Evidence is evidence."

The disaster echoed a 1988 incident, when a US warship shot down an Iranian airliner, killing 290 people. While Washington claimed it was an accident, Tehran said it was intentional.

If it were in Nigeria Buhari would've release his bulldogs a.k.a DSS after those protesters and for years Bishop Liar Muhammed and Pastor Adeshina would've denied government was responsible for the crash.

True
But what could be the possible reason the airline was shot down though?
What could have been achieved by the intentional murder of her own citizens ?
Unless the obvious- Iran has poorly trained military personnel manning their rockets. Perhaps their military isn't as advanced as they would want the world to believe?

This is quite bad for Iran. When the news broke, I said if Iran had any hand in the plane brought down, it will have terrible consequences for the government.

The regime should stand down and do a public persecution of all those involved (military, head of aviation, etc). Consult their foreign secretary (Javad Zarif) on the diplomatic solution to this. The country needs wisdom in discharging it's duties.

Can you explain what is logical in killing 176 people to retaliate the death of 1 person?

For to have blamed Trump for this inhuman, demonic and irresponsible act, A GOAT IS WISER THAN YOU in all ramifications.

It was not an accident. They intentionally shot it down. When Iran attacked the joint US-Iraqi army base, they shot dozens of rockets that were surface-to-surface missiles. But for the airline, it was hit by a surface-to-air missile. If you fire a surface-to-air missile you were definitely planning to hit something in the sky. Because the trajectory, the precision, the timing etc everything has to be consciously set to make a successful hit. So it was not an accident. They did it on purpose. Their only regret now is that it killed more Iranians than everybody else.

Iran is a country where you would hardly find other citizens there. It's not a tourist country and many nationals from the West know not to go there even for work related purposes.
They would definitely know any airline flying to and away from their airports will mostly be Iranians.
I belive it was a mistake. Not everyone can think rationally under pressure and stress, while some think better under pressure.
It reminds me of many police shootings of blacks in the US. Many of those shootings occurred due to the irrational fears of the officers for the blackman. They didnt allow their heads do the thinking, as statistics have told them more blacks are criminals and would carry a gun to shoot officers. They just react, only to find out the person shot was only trying to get his ID from the pocket and not a gun as they thought.

Arab spring on the move.
Either Iran is revenging what USA did to their airplane many years back or they were simply targeting USA spies who came under the cover of another country passport.
Now that the citizens has started protesting all that the USA need to remove the Ayatollahs from power is to mobilize the citizens for a sustained protect.
No leader has ever survive a sustained protest from 60% of the citizens.

No true God will pour out wisdom on a Nation that is committed to causing world economic and social disability in the name of religion.

God created MAN perfectly.
Man did not create GOD.

I wonder why a claimed sane, would do abominable acts with the excuse that he is fighting for a religion, let alone GOD.

It's a pity!!!
