Imo: PDP To Stage Protest In Abuja On Monday by NgeneUkwenu(f): 7:00am On Jan 19, 2020
The Peoples Democratic Party on Saturday directed that a peaceful, civil and non-violent protest, be held in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja on Monday.

The Supreme Court had on January 14 nullified the electoral victory of the Imo State PDP governorship candidate, Chief Emeka Ihedioha, in the March 2019 election,

It also held that the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Hope Uzodinma, is the duly elected governor. It therefore directed the Independent National Electoral Commission to withdraw the Certificate of Return it issued to Ihedioha and issue a new one to Uzodinma.

The truth is that Ihedioha was never elected governor of Imo state. He should never have been returned elected or sworn in as governor because he didn’t meet the constitutional requirements to become a governor. So, there is actually no basis for the protest other than to make noise and get undue attention.

Medicine after death. Why can't they protest when the CJN was illegally removed. Why can't protest when it was obvious INEC rigged Buhari against Atiku.

Who protest HELP? cry wink Would the protest HELP to revert the supreme Court Judgement?

While not protest all these while when Buhari was abusing Federal Character based on his appointments and utterances. You're not bothered on what affects the generality of Nigerians, but when it comes to your personal gain for political power you want to protest.

Rubbish.....

This protest is not about Imo state, it is about other states like Benue, Sokoto and Bauchi that are left in the Supreme Court.

We understand their tactics since tomorrow is another day to deliver some heart breaking judgement in the Supreme Court

cool

It is shamefull to PDP and Amadioha.. this little gathering is now a protest?

PDP would realise they lost out big time when the crowd that welcomed Hope Uzordinma and came to his swearing in is 100 time more than the protestants

MAD OOOO.

After the protest, Buhari will then command the Supreme Court to revert the judgement and make Ehidioha the governor again.

Anyone seen in the protest should be rounded up and taken to psychiatric hospital for mental evaluation.
