Keep deceiving yourself. Mumu. Do you think it is easy to replace a long term source of supply for 200 million people? WHO IS IT IN AFRICA that can replace that supply? Go on, tell us.

They've not fed their own 10 million to 20 million populations, but it is NIGERIA that they will feed?

And at what cost? Or you think it costs nothing to export to Nigeria? Are you ready to pay 6 to 10 times more for your meat? What supply chain infrastructure will the new sellers use to replace the Fulani one? Do you even know what supply chain means, and the logistics of replacing a supply chain serving 200 million people, assuming you could actually find the new source of supply?

You people just hate out of stupidity.

I REALLY WISH those Fulani herders you hate so much can just go on strike for 3 MONTHS. Let us see where you idiots will get your beef and pomo and shaki, and roundabout from. Don't work to reach an amicable solution you hear? One day your hatred will show you an empty plate.

The astoundingly dumb premise of this thread is the presumption that Fulani herdsmen whose largest market for their products is Southern Nigeria would impoverish and bankrupt themselves by voluntarily ending their source of livelihood. I hope they destroy and burn and pillage and rape and murder in whatever village you come from so you can reach an "amicable solution" with backward, blood-thirsty murderous scum with no grasp of their civic responsibilities or peaceful coexistence, who battle and skirmish with every single group who are unfortunate to coexist in any space with them.
And your Math about paying "6 to 10 times more" is worthless and has no empirical value. Even in the scenario you paint, there might be short term shock to the system, but importation from other other African neighbors and beyond, substitution with other meat sources, and a resolute investment by other Nigerians in cow husbandry would adequately fill the vacuum. Protectionist measures are often what keeps Nigerian farmers (and other goods producers) afloat (whether rice farmers, poultry farmers or whoever) and imported products from other countries are often significantly cheaper. But once again, this is all irrelevant considering the silly premise that Fulani herdsmen would voluntarily bankrupt themselves by quitting their day job
