When it favors you TI becomes a yardstick, when against they are being sponsored by the opposition? So this government does not know indices of corruption's? Just to mention but 1, all the security apparatus have legalized bribe to the extent of giving changes without any iota of shame! This can propel any nation to number 1 in the ranking, who will dispute this?

Ms Lauretta, it is not that this administration is not fighting corruption. I want to say that Pres. Buhari is fighting corruption more than any govt but it is called corruption perception index. Let's assess what the chairman of TI said in 2017.


“Only where there is freedom of expression, transparency in all political processes and strong democratic institutions, can civil society and the media hold those in power to account and corruption be fought successfully,” said José Ugaz, Chair of Transparency International.

It is important to realize that one cardinal point of RULE OF LAW is TOLERANCE OF OPPOSITION. It takes wisdom and patience to follow some of these things. If court says anything, it is better to accept then we can go back to appeal. It puts the government in a good light to Obey court judgement, then follow the due process for an appeal. This is important for government may be right but it is perceived that it tends to disobey the court it will affect the PERCEPTION of observers.
