I don't know what you are on about. 76% of Europeans believe in Christianity compared to 65% of Americans. If it is by religion, Nigeria should ideally be the most developed country in the world.

If we are to use "believe in God", the percentage would even be higher due to the large Muslim population in Europe.

You must be talking about another Europe. Certainly not the Europe on planet earth. And very specifically, I said Western Europe, which seems to have the most developed countries of Europe.

Let me ask you; have you ever heard any European president or prime Minister give a speech and end it with "God bless you" or "God bless Britain" or "God bless _____ country"?

But when American Presidents give a national speech, they would usually end with "God bless America".

Donald Trump himself constantly says it in many of his speeches that "In America, we don't worship government, we worship God". Which other European country have you heard their president say such kind of thing?

And to be clear, when I say "believe in God", I am not talking about any kind of god. I mean the Judeo-Christian God. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. So you don't need to bring in the middle eastern countries. And even if you decide to bring in middle eastern countries, look at Israel, the only free democracy in the middle east, and the most technologically advanced nation in the middle east. They are so advanced that America buys some weapons systems from Israel. And they are the only country that has a majority of their population believing in the Judeo-Christian God.

For a start, The US is far more prosperous and powerful than China in every sense.....except maybe in terms of 5G technology.

The only area where China is more than the US is in population. And even with almost 5times the population of the US, China's GDP is still not up to 70% of the US GDP.

Secondly, you talk about China being a model of development, let me ask you; what sort of development is that when the citizens are not free? In China, you are policed by the state, you can't criticize the government without going to jail. You can't freely practice any religion of your choice as you wish. You can't decide to have 5 children if you so wish without being frowned upon by the government. You can't work and keep most of your profits to yourself because of excessive taxation by the communist government which believe every citizen is working for the state.

What sort of "development" is that?? I would rather have the type of development the US offers where I can thrive and enjoy personal liberty than the sham offered by China.

Africa is religious and backwards, but you also forget that North Korea is Atheist and very backwards. The average Nigerian under Buhari's failed government lives a far better life than the average North Korean who is not a top member of the ruling communist worker's party. Go and check this fact and stop using religion as a yardstick in your fake analysis.

America is more religious than Nigeria, but they are prosperous because they follow the principles of prosperity outlined in the Judeo-Christian values whereas in Africa, most religious people do not understand principles! The Judeo-Christian principles for prosperity will work for any society that applies them, whether that society is very religious or not, it doesn't matter! God is not a respecter of persons, so his principles will work for anyone who applies them. This is why rain falls on both good and wicked people.

America is great because they understand these principles as a nation and apply them. And just to mention one of these Judeo-Christian principles that America applies - Foreign Aid! America is the largest foreign aid donor by far! One of the principles of prosperity apart from hardwork is GIVING! God said if you give, it will be given back to you in good measure pressed down shaken together and running over. The same bible says that it is more blessed to give than to receive. The same bible says the hand that gives is greater than he that receives. America spends tens of billions of dollars in foreign aid every year, but have you ever heard Nigeria or any African country giving yearly aid, even to any other African country that they are better than?
