MANY Nigerians living and working (paying taxes) in America would be affected by this new law as they would not be able to renew their visas or face huge difficulty in getting visas after expiration.

THE problem was with non-immigrant visas, why ban the immigrant visas.

This is very discriminatory towards Africa.

It is not discriminatory to Africa because the following countries are not listed:Congo,South Africa,Kenya,Sierra Leone,Togo,Cameroun,Morocco,Namibia,Botswana,Zambia,Mozambique...just to name a few.

There is a limited but still useful parallel to draw between collective Nigerians in America and collective Igbo in Nigeria. The crux of the matter is that both are groups too powerful for the influence they do not wield in America and Nigeria respectively. For our purpose America is a land of interloper immigrants with only Native Americans spiritually and philosophically justified for the paternalistic role held by EuroAmericans.
