The op said you should learn dedication to duty in the face of serious challenges shown by all involved. No sharing of money or any such thing. Won't you learn dat?
If that is what you want to learn, good for you. Not a good example for us to follow. If APC or PDP senators behave like those republicans, you will scream corruption

Fair Analysis.

America-Democracy is just proved before us all to be alive and kicking. God bless America.

May God help NIGERIA, her 3iers of Government and BUHARI to overcome the rot of misinterpreting and misapplying Presidential Democracy.

America has just practicalised Presidential Democracy using Trump and Pelosi as Case Study.

God bless America.

Actually it's not really about trump, Republicans were fighting for themselves and their party. Trump said it all that even if he shoots someone dead in New York, Republicans will still protect him

That's what you get when you publicly vow to impeach the president few hours after he was sworn in. All your cases will be seen as witch hunt and political vendetta and not service to your country. Not even a defence of the constitution, especially when you openly ripped off an important speech a day before the senate vote. What people see is total hatred for Trump and not love for the country.

U are right.

How about the shitting on the constitution? All our institution of checks and balances, emoluments clause, pay to play for Ambassador Sondland, Betsy DeVos, Elaino Chao, kowtowing to world dictators and trashing our intelligence agencies, what about the constant attack on opposition or folks with different views. They are on the verge of removing Lt Vindmann for testifying against the drug deal Trump ran in Ukraine.

The only thing I learnt from this is that US politicians crave power above all else. I mean, even before the impeachment was sent to their senate, Republicans who are majority already said they will vote to acquit trump. So what's the point. Ther is a difference. Trump was objective and u were being subjective especially with what I see going on arround here. The insults have no bearing or bases mosttimes it can start from anything to anywhere. And before u open ur mouth to call a region a shithole make sure ur better besides being objective.

Also trump was referring to out systems not the people itself.

While i commend your penmanship and articulate understanding of how proper democracies work, i will like to draw your attention to the fact that your write up insinuates one thing, that Trump is guilty but was acquitted because of the Republicans majority in the house of senate. This is where i object, while Trump may be guilty or not, not that we know which is which, i would like to state that the impeachment hoax so to say got this far in the first place based on partisan politics, Trump got impeached in the lower house because the democrats rule the lower house, plain and simple. Trump faced adversary from the democrats from his very first day in office, from the Russian collusion scandal, to the rejection of his idea of building a wall right till when he was accused of abusing his official powers as president, to further show the perceived hatred on Trump by the democrats and leftists was when Nancy Pelosi openly tore Trump's state of the union speech in the full glare of the public, It may be safe to say then that the witch hunting of Donald Trump is not one born out of patriotism or for the laws of the country but one driven by hate and loath for his policies, openness and vague statements. One big lesson and conclusion i will draw from the whole America/Trump debacle is that even though America practices one of the best democratic systems in the world, it is still highly divided along partisan lines.

My humble submission.

This is not the full story. Let me lay the background.

Before Donald Trump was elected, House democrats promised to impeach him. Pelosi said he will not be the president. Obama said he wouldn't be president.

Some republicans said he will destroy the party and should not be chosen. The media called him a racist, rapist, liar, cheater, idiot, fool. Etc. An Hollywood tape was released where he said he grabbed women by their private part. He apologised but all these was an attempt to convince the people he is unfit to be president.

Yet, he won the Republican presidential nomination and eventually over 60 million Americans voted for him to become president, winning the electoral college. He fought against the media Washignton Democrats and Republicans and won.

Then some minutes after his inauguration, a major U.S. newspaper, wrote "THE CAMPAIGN TO IMPEACH THE PRESIDENT HAS BEGUN".

The WHISTLEBLOWER'S LAWYER Twitted "#COUP HAS STARTED. #REBELLION. #IMPEACHMENT WILL FOLLOW ULTIMATELY".

According to the the FISA abuse report carried out by the Inspector General, The FBI under the Obama administration secretly spied and investigated Trump before and after he was elected. They solicited help from various countries to help in the investigation.

A salacious and false dossier about Trump, paid by Hilliary Clinton and the Democratic National committee, written by an ex British spy was used as a basis to continue to investigate Trump.

They lied, falsified an email that exonerated one of Trump associate under investigation and deceived the FISA judges to continue to investigate Trump even when they found out he was innocent.

When it failed, they moved on to the next step. They hired Mueller to look into whether he colluded with Russia to win the election.

Mueller’s team interviewed nearly 500 witnesses and issuing nearly 2,800 subpoenas, they investigated his business, finance, his family, even his grand children. But the report findings was it did not find that Trump associates coordinated or conspired with Russia to meddle in the 2016 election. But Schiff was claiming he had substancial evidence he colluded with Russia and was caught lying.

That did not end. There was a whistleblower's complaint about the president' s call to the president of Ukraine.

The Whistleblower contacted Adam Schiff's Staff, two weeks b4 the complaint was filed. So they coached him on how to go about it, which was wrong. Schiff said he didn't know or make contact with the Whistleblower, but later during the impeachment inquiry, he was caught lying and backtracked.

Then Schiff in a committee hearing after the complaint, read a false and parody version of the President phone call, which prompted Pelosi to direct the chairman to begin Impeachment enquiry.

The president in full transparency, declasified the transcript and released it to the public. It was different from the parody version Schiff read.

The U.S president asked the President of Ukraine to look into Biden son who was earning a million dollar a year as one of the board of directors in a corrupt company named Burisma. He was not qualified to be there as he had no experience in oil and gas nor did speak Ukraine.

His employment came after his father was put in charge of Ukraine matters. The president also asked The Ukraine president into the matter concerning Joe Biden who bragged about withholding foreign aid unless they fired the prosecutor investigating the company his son was working at, Burisma. Both democrats and republicans agree the company is corrupt.

So this is the part the Democrats said the President abused the power of his office to solicit help from the Ukraine government to investigate a political rival and influence the 2020 elections. Contrary to the Democrats accusations, he is obligated by law to look into the corruption b4 releasing aid to a country.

Then when they subpoena his close advisors, he claimed executive privilege and went to the courts to challenge it. But the Democrats could not wait for the courts to settle the dispute and said he obstructed congress.

The democrats hate the president and will do anything to remove him from office. The chairman of the Intel committee, Schiff called the president a Charlatan and said he will send him back to the golden throne he came from.

The Chairman of the Judicial committee, Nadler ran for the position on being the best man to impeach Trump.

The Chairman of the Finance Committee, held a campaign to impeach the President b4 all these and said she will fight with everything she has until he is impeached.

Pelosi called him an impostor and that he needs to be removed urgently.

So this is the dirty politics going on in Washington. And it doesn't end after the acquital, the Democrats promise to continue to investigate, till they come up with something again.

Rantings of a self-delusional ignorant soul who doesn't even appreciate the fact that slavery started long before Christianity, but it only ended because some whitemen who believed in the Judeo-Christian values for human life in the 19th century decided there was no justification for carrying on with slavery. Abraham Lincoln, a Republican who believed in the bible went to war with his fellow whitemen to ensure there was an enforcement of the ban of slavery. Without white Christian men like Lincoln, you would still have slavery going on today because there was absolutely no indication that our fellow black men who were slave raiders had any intention of quitting their lucrative trade of capturing black people and selling them to whitemen to be transported abroad for forced labour.

Well.....

Trump's day of reckoning is in November.
Let's watch and see if he will win a second term.

All over you black mofos defending trump

I hope you were not kids when McConnell and his gang in the Congress swore from day one to make Obama a one term president

Plus all the bullying and hate he got from decrepit media like Faux news and Breitbart and the rest

Why then shoot Republican cry wolf when they set the precedence?

Come November I predict Democrats holding the house and clipping the Senate

As for the presidential election
Let's see
