Nigeria needs to generate about 80000MW to have light 24/7 . Lagos alone needs 10000 MW daily.

And the.total cost has been put at anywhere between 300 billion to 900 billion dollars to fix the.problem

It is beyond someone bribing government.

( For the record , Nigeria's Forex reserves is 40 billion dollars)

i don’t blame you.

So all this small Africans countries having steady power supply how did they do it?

Because of the peanuts you people benefit from the government you don’t use your brain anymore.

I’ve traveled to more than 30 countries there are many ways of generating cheaper electricity stop saying what you don’t know.

Soon the evil you’re supporting will catch up with you or your love ones

They either

1. Supply certain areas alone and leave others in darkness

2. Generate sufficient power eg South Africa generates 44000 MW. ( Nigeria generates 7000)

3.Pay sufficient bills, with defaulters cut off eg Ghana, South Africa (in Nigeria, in many areas less than 50% of households on the grid pay for power).

4. Generate enough revenue to pay for power. Egypt for example can pay for power because they generate fat revenues from tourism, agriculture and industry. And they also sell some gas. ( Nigeria has oil, and we produce less than Saudi Arabia for a population twenty times that of Saudi )

5 Many of these small African countries don't have people who vandalise power equipment and steal power without paying for it

6. Finally you Nigerians vote for the theives in PDP and APC. I don't vote for or support either party

You get the picture.

Senseless death. The killers should be killed for such a dumb murder. So you force a man to sell you his house. No cash paid and the man is missing... how do you intend to take possession of the house. Will family members not rise up and arrest you for fraud and murder?

Read my second comment up thread.

I will add that we are not a rich country. Rich countries are countries like China who earn most of their revenue from industrial products exports.

Nigeria sells only oil. Our agriculture even in the good old days cannot compete internationally against the major agro exporters who use modernised farming methods.

If we want to get rich on oil, we have to somehow reduce our population down to 10 million people.

Why I don't support any PDP or APC is that their policies do not include a roadmap to industrial development
