I find it laughable and very disingenuous that Former Head of States and National Chairman of Nigeria Prays, General Yakubu Gowon (retd), on Sunday, led his group in a prayer rally for peace in the North-East zone and Nigeria at large. Not that I don't believe in prayer or that that part of the country does not deserve one but simply because he helped the Fulanis to achieve notoriety and the belief that they are the owners and rulers of Nigeria. In essence, he helped to perpetuate the murderous behavior of the Fulani hegemony just like TY Danjuma. They saw themselves as part and parcel of the Hausa Fulani ethnicity and sat in silence when these marauders were expanding their stranglehold on the nation-state of Nigeria. It's a bit too little too late to be praying for peace. Even the Bible tells us in Ecclesiastes 3:8 that "For everything, there is a season and a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace." When the season for peace is over, you can't make peace because it would never work. So, Mr. Gowon should have done more to sue for peace when he had the opportunity rather than wait and hoping that praying would solve all mankind's problems which he helped create.

This is like satan leading prayer in a church
