Lol back to square one because Nigeria learn the first time. Almajiris were covered under UBEC yet they did next to nothing for them. They should also tell the police to enforce laws against child abuse. most of them being Almajiri roaming the streets of our major cities in Nigeria begging for alms and food.” Why is the koran the only thing you have to turn your kid into a beggar to learn? 27 Likes 1 Share |

ayzTIGER: Where are the pictures of them schools? ...Stop telling lies. Ain't no almajiri schools, maybe that was what GEJ intended but that was not what was on ground. He might have budgeted and even spent for it but he should look for the minister whom the project was under his domain to explain the reality on ground. |

However, Aliero lamented that currently, “some of the structures are either laying fallow or put into uses other than what they were originally intended for and some of the facilities in the Almajiri Model Schools are already decaying as they have never been put to use.” Just like the many projects of pdp it was just for show nd to have something to milk the treasury with but none of the acclaimed schools ever did function (that's if it were properly built in the first place) |

Susu888: Susu888: If there's no schools how can there be dilapidated schools? In one breath you say there's none in another the schools schools exist but didnt function. You should pick a narrative and stick with it. Pictures of dilapidated almajiri schools: 31 Likes 2 Shares |

Fools are now tired of propaganda and are now telling themselves the truth. Some northern politicians want the Almajiris to remain impoverished, mentally and materially, so that they will remain willing tools for their heinous acts of herd mentality voting and underage voting too. They fear if educate this people they will start thinking for themselves and have mind of their own and can't easily be swayed anymore. They don't know they are doing themselves. Like Sanusi said, quota system will not remain here forever. Some Nairaland fools would always flood my mention to advise their generation to move on from GEJ. But I can't move on from a man that had a master plan for this country. Back it up with realistic and verifiable policies that if continued would have set this country on autopilot in the right direction. That's what we gave up for lies, propaganda, brutish exercise of power, insecurity and anachronism. Right now, where is this country headed? No where at all. The fools in power keep sleeping and waking up with no ideas. But GEJ had short, medium and long term plans for every approach to governance. I just don't know when my heart is going to stop bleeding for that major error this country committed by voting out GEJ. 102 Likes 7 Shares |

Susu888: So the Nigerian Senate is blabbing abi? They are pushing for the revival of these schools yet you are here disgracing yourself and displaying your intellectual poverty. Why not go and ask Ahmed Lawan and Aliero the schools they are talking about? 76 Likes 7 Shares

I live in Kano, in my area we have a well built and furnished Almajiri school, that has not been in use since it was built by GEJ, looking through the window you see quality chairs and white board and good fans all covered in dust. Any time I pass through the school I feel bad for this country, sentiment will never let us do things right. 115 Likes 6 Shares |

Maintenance culture and project continuity is one of our biggest problems. This government will set up a programme or project, another government will come in to abolish or stop it. New government won't give concern to his past government projects because it's not the new government initiatives. It's well! Let's handle your ebay/Amazon orders.
