bruh pls educate me abeg since you're far ahead of me.

currently studying geography too at 2h and banging a 2.1.

how is the market after graduation and hopefully I maintain my 2.1, do I have any edge over others in the market and if no, what further geography skills do I need to learn before graduation?

God bless you as I await your orientation.

PS: I currently sponsor myself and I have madt skills on graphics design, it's what pay the bills. but does this skill count in the grand scheme of things?

Firstly, your 2.1 is good because it shows you're quite brilliant and hardworking. However, in the realm of expertise, they rarely ask for your GP. No client has ever asked for my certificate. They only ask some technical questions to query my competence.

Secondly, what matters most in this age is having strong ict skills. Being able to use technology to solve geographical problems.

Thirdly, your graphics design skills are highly useful. Mine has helped me alot in designing maps.

Fourthly, there are many oppurtunities available. You can be a cartography, GIS analyst, GIS developer, Remote sensing and UAV specialist etc.

Please read more on those fields from google. Good luck.

If you are studying / studied Biochemistry and u hate pathways and enzymology, u ll always regret studying it.

For me, those 2 courses (pathways and enzymology) are what made me love my course more.

I wish I ll have the opportunity to work with my little biochemistry knowledge in a pharmaceutical/medical/chemical industry

Yesso! I am in my late 20's and studied pharmacy. By the grace of God, I got a job immediately after NYSC in two Federal establishments simultaneously. I had to go for one. Three of my closest friends and coursemates are in Australia, Germany and the Uk doing research. We are all from humble backgrounds, and I used to hawk doughnuts and purewater as a child. I do not regret studying pharmacy in anyway and I thank God for it.

I had a great passion to study pharmacy in the university since I was in JSS but after my Waec and Neco examinations, i realized that I was not going to be able to make it to the university because there's nobody to train me. I have always put all of my best into been a brilliant student and my two results testify to that.

Sometimes looking at the results always makes me cry and I always ask myself if I will ever be able to become what I have always wanted to be but I'm grateful for the gift of life. When there is life there is hope and moreover there is no bad time for a good thing in life.

I wish you all the best bro. You know lecturers differ. The man that thought us then went as far as teaching in our local languages, using real life examples. Even ladies in Accounting Technology department then scored As and Bs... He made it too easy then. Some lecturers make it look as if it's a big deal....
