Wow

Incredible!
So we can't apply until October 2020

That means many people will lose thier jobs very soon

And when the help package comes from the international body headed by E U,. They'll help 774,000 people that qualified

I wonder what the criterias will be

But I can bet, you need to be vaccinated

I love this time
Criteria is that you are Hausa fulani or you know Ahmad Lawan the senate president who also doubles as recruit/employment officer.

This initiative doesn't make much sense. So people who have no knowledge of road maintenance and construction will suddenly start doing road repairs and building low cost housing?? This is just a silly attempt by semi-illiterate leaders to throw money around to be seen to be doing something. So will these guys be permanent staff? Will they be pensionable? Or will they be short term contract staff - say 3 years duration?

At the end of the day most of these people will just be getting paid and doing no work, because there will be no money to do the actual work they were employed to do. Even the existing staff of the civil service of Nigeria are among the most unproductive staff worldwide. How civil servants have TV in their offices and say they are working beats me.

We need a more structured approach to economic stimulus, that is designed to achieve specific objectives backed up by economic models. And not this nonsense we are doing all over the place that doesn't seem to complement one another.

What are they going to be doing? Fighting Covid?
The most reasonable thing to do is to train them and absorb them into the Police force

Why can't they use Npower beneficiaries and run the new duties? You haven't paid Npower beneficiaries and you are recruiting new beneficiaries that will receive stipends .

STOP recruiting!!!

Support the private businesses!!!
Create an enabling environment for them!!!
Provide low interest loans for them !!!
Provide improved infrastructure !!!
Cut spending on the legislature !!!
Increase the pay, training and welfare of the police force, or just sign the state policy act !!!

Government shouldn’t be largest employer of labor, even though they hire their friends and family alone, and maybe their party members too!

This is not rocket science! They won’t stop sharing and wasting the nations money!

This is annoying!!!!

Giant of Africa with no stable power supply!!!
Ordinary power supply they can’t fix since 1960!!!

They all should be ashamed!!!

Very good sir...

If only our naija leaders and the different individuals who will handle the 500bn put our collective national interest above theirs and avoid stealing from the money. That 500BN will be enough to manage COVID-19 in naija.

But for where! Na naija we dey. Amongst that 500bn probably over 150bn will be chopped down before it reaches its earmarked destination nd worst part is people who steal will be at the forefront blaming the government while the money was given but they ate it.

We really are our own problem nd with these our itchy hands Africa has a long way to go.

If you recruitment 774,000 with projection of 1000 per local govt, I wonder where the jobs they will be doing are and also the projected revenue to support the workforce for a given period?
Re: COVID-19: Buhari Approves Recruitment Of 774,000 Nigerians by delvzy(m): 3:50pm On Apr 06, 2020
I do feel this is a good initiative base on my calculation that's is 75 thousand plus for each participant but my major cause of concern is how would the federal government ensure that the looters don't get into this and loot a sizable portion of this away.
If 1,000 people are employed in every local government in the federation and everything goes well I do see drastic improvement in the growth and development of Nigeria.

GOD BLESS NIGERIA.

Another Audio recruitment.
All the monies saved by Obasanjo and GEJ for a rainy day was frittered away by Buhari in less than 4yrs. He didn't stop there, he went on borrowing spree. Borrowed more than PDP managed in 16yrs.
It will never be well with Buhari and his co-travellers.
Gej didn't save any money oga. That's the reason we fell bad economically in 2016. Obasanjo saved, yes. That's true. But Jonathan, no.
